Edison 'de Bismarck' Collage Artist
Hello and thank you for taking the time to drop by. I'm a London based collage artist. Creations are made using hand cut and glued vintage, antique and modern papers. I do not use digital manipulation. Works are often embellished with mixed media and other ephemera to create additional depth and dimension. The "I Remember..." series is an ongoing collection of collages depicting snippets and events from life itself. All other works are random subjects often within a theme or as a stand alone piece creating framed 'dream-scapes', a term I use to describe these often complex, miniature surreal worlds. Using influences and materials from fashion, advertising, music, tales and fables, street art, eroticism, fetish, kitsch, religion, pornography, pop art and culture, the collages are often full of complex perspectives, contrasts of colour and varied juxtopositioning of materials and subject matter.
